We may all have come in different vehicles as represented by our various political parties, but poverty and hunger faced by the masses of Nigeria

“We may all have come in different vehicles as represented by our various political parties, but poverty and hunger faced by the masses of Nigeria have no political party. We may profess different religions, but the insecurity taking high tolls on our people has no religion.

“Therefore, it is imperative and we are indeed inclined to work as a team for the peace, justice, equity, and national prosperity, irrespective of political leanings and div “Ours is a call to service, a call to deliver democracy dividends, a call to meet the expectations of our people,

ShockingNews: l want Nigerians to look at those of us who are the actors and take note of what we say. That is the most important thing. I want to submit

and a call to ensure that the government of Nigeria works for the people of Nigeria and I have no doubt whatsoever that we will deliver on our mandates.”

Well we are waiting for them, we know that they are not good losers anyway. So, it is common to go to the tribunal, we are ready to meet them because the first election

Well we are waiting for them, we know that they are not good losers anyway. So, it is common to go to the tribunal, we are ready to meet them because the first election they committed a lot of fraud, a lot of irregularities and the Supplementary election was fair and free.

“It was carried out in 28 local government, they didn’t win a single local government out of the 28, so that is paining them a lot. So we are ready to go to the tribunal.” On his blue print in the next four years, he said, “The next four years is going to be a very interesting four years because we are going to consolidate on what we have achieved so far.

“In particular we see what we can do in order to make education is free, affordable and also to ensure that girl education is being given prominence.

“Of course, agriculture is another issue that we must take the state to another level. So far we have done a lot and the production of rice is now we feed ourselves.

The allegations are baseless and outright falsehood from the pit of hell. The objective of these lies and their sponsors is to dent

“The allegations are baseless and outright falsehood from the pit of hell. The objective of these lies and their sponsors is to dent the image of the commission and cast aspersion on my person and office as the Administrative Secretary, by their cheap campaign of calumny.

‘’It will be recalled that the same lies were concocted when the commission’s vehicle carrying out a nationally authorized reverse logistics duty was involved in an accident on Oku-Abak Highway.

When they observed that I was leading and they saw the danger coming, they quickly moved on March

These lie spinners had alleged in a paid advert that they ‘’interviewed,” INEC drivers involved in the said accident who were critically ill and unconscious in the hospital, who never spoke to anyone and the said drivers ‘’confessed ‘’to tampering with ballot papers of a particular party in the state. These were also a pack of lies.

“I wish to state unequivocally again that these allegations are false and should be disregarded as the materials of the commission have never been tampered with and are open for inspection if and when authorized by a competent authority.”

Anyone who feels dissatisfied is free to approach a court of law. It is a free world, everyone is entitled to his opinion. But honestly, from what I saw in Niger

It is not unusual, when you lose elections, you go to court for so many reasons. It could be that you think you won or it could be that someone is telling you that you have won or it could be that someone is telling you some miracles can happen.

“It could also be that someone wants to get money off you. So there is no reason why after free and fair elections had been conducted and it is clear in the eyes of the world, one still believes that there are shoddy dealings.

Shocking statement: How do we think of making education to be useful? Those people who will make our population over 400 million in years time are already born and you cannot unborn them....
“Anyone who feels dissatisfied is free to approach a court of law. It is a free world, everyone is entitled to his opinion. But honestly, from what I saw in Niger, this election has been the fairest election we have conducted so far.”

We insist that the recent general elections were fraught with screaming flaws, deliberate sabotage, treachery and outright banditry

“All people of goodwill across our land should speak out with holy courage and boldly about the perceived wrongs and the glaring imbalances in our polity. The Nigerian union deserves peace, harmony, equity and a strengthened bond of brotherhood that will galvanize our nation to greater development and prosperity.

“Surely, we do not pray for the collapse of our democracy. But we urge for vigilance and constant monitoring of the affairs of the state. We submit that the Nigerian union has crossed a crucial threshold in the continuous struggle for a summative identity and national wholeness.

“We insist that the recent general elections were fraught with screaming flaws, deliberate sabotage, treachery and outright banditry. It is our resolve that the present electoral processes wherein result sheets are physically carried across the nation are absolutely primitive and apparently susceptible to all kinds of distortions.”

Well, I think it is not just state by state matter but a regional problem. Because, we are surrounded by forests.

“Well, I think it is not just state by state matter but a regional problem. Because, we are surrounded by forests. We have Kuyambana to Rugu down to Maradi Republic.

“The bandits are taking advantage of the fact that we are living like an Island because we are surrounded by forests from Sokoto we have Basuguma around, in Kaduna, Birnin Gwari, Niger, we have Kuyambana Dansado forest there, in Katsina, we have Rugu and at South East of Zamfara where we have Maradi, we have forest there.

“So as the governor of Katsina said, we have to collaborate. I know our security chiefs meet quarterly to review their performance, the gain and the loss, the same thing goes for our brothers in Maladi.

Nigerians are at home with what happened on February 23, the sham they called election. We are going to re-present those facts to Nigerians, we are not going to manufacture facts

“We asked that our candidate who won the election massively across the country be declared the winner. “In the alternative, we also asked that the election be set aside on the ground of irregularity which was apparent across the country.

“We have a pool of 20 SANs who are tested in election petition matters and other senior lawyers who are also working with them. So we are confident. “We have also lined up more than 400 witnesses that are going to testify in this petition.

I have been held hostage here for days so I’m trying to ease off and take my life home back to my children and for the sake of that I am calling these results under duress

He is yet to make up his mind on who to back but the worst case scenario is that he would forward the three names to the president for one of them to be considered

One member of his kitchen cabinet is “disposed to either his immediate predecessor,'

This is blackmail just to bring the name of the governorship candidate and all those who are working for the good of the party to disrepute.

“This is blackmail just to bring the name of the governorship candidate and all those who are working for the good of the party to disrepute.

That is their aim because they feel the likelihood of them being reappointed is very slim hence this mudslinging.

“Straightaway I stopped my prayer, peeked through the window and found a person with, you know, machine gun and heavy dress.

“By the time I looked at the floor and saw three dead bodies,

then realised oh, this must be something else. This is a terrorist attack.”

he told worshippers to duck and then described how he and a “brother” decided to confront the attacker during a lull in the gunfire.

“By the time he got there (outside the mosque) the bullets were finished and the gun was used.

The APC as a party in Imo State has officially rejected the results because it has uncontroverted evidence that Uzodinma won the election

On the video clip in circulation suggesting that Uzodinma had congratulated Ihedioha, it stated: “The purported video showing the duo hugging are clips from the wedding reception of Charles Amadi’s (Chavon) daughter which was held in his house in New Owerri over two weeks ago.

“The truth is that there has been no meeting between Uzodinma and Ihedioha since the governorship election. Bedsides, the APC as a party in Imo State has officially rejected the results because it has uncontroverted evidence that Uzodinma won the election.

There can therefore be no celebration of any sort when justice has not been served.”

That is a common thing you will be hearing, and they have been talking about that always. But the question is why do you want to remove me?

That’s what I am saying, and that is a common thing you will be hearing, and they have been talking about that always. But the question is why do you want to remove me? That is the question. Why is it that in our country today, when a man says he wants to do the right thing, a man who has embraced certain pristine values to do the right thing is the one having problems? Why is it that that is the kind of thing you find in our country?  That people want to do the right things; they are putting all kinds of hindrances on his way. Why is it so?

My friend, if I had compromised, I wouldn’t have any problem today. I can now confirm to you that in my experience in the Nigerian public, integrity is very difficult to maintain. You are endangered if you are talking about integrity. What kind of country are we?

Why was it as if we were going to war? Look at the number of people that were killed in other parts of the country during last the election. Have we lost our sense of humanity? We are grateful to God that nobody died here in Akwa Ibom, but the fact that people were killed in other places is worrisome.

He needs to be encouraged to look for a successor for his party, as he is perennial runner but I am sure he won’t run again

“He needs to be encouraged to look for a successor for his party, as he is perennial runner but I am sure he won’t run again.

Although, there was low turnout everywhere but what surprised me was that we ballooned the figure as Sanwo-Olu scored 78 per cent of votes  while the PDP candidate Jimi Agbaje scored 22 per cent. I didn’t expect that. I was hoping he (Agbaje) would score about 35-50 per cent. So it means everything they are talking about PDP means they are just kidding.”

“The voting apathy affected Presidential elections, but didn’t affect the governorship because of the E-voting. The e-voting has been able to prevent lot of manipulation . so it is goodbye to rigging days.”

If you have somebody who is used to committing an offence, he will run to the police station first to absolve himself

“It is what is supposed to be. If you look at it, a whole local government election cancelled. The margin was nothing to write home about if you compare it with the registered voters, it is clear.”

If you have somebody who is used to committing an offence, he will run to the police station first to absolve himself.

“The lady alleged that she was put under security threat and that she wrote the result under duress. I want to call on the security agencies to probe it and whosoever is found guilty should face the wrath of the law.”

does not have the power or right whatsoever to boycott an election as a candidate. It is only the party that sponsored the candidate that is empowered by law to do that

does not have the power or right whatsoever to boycott an election as a candidate. It is only the party that sponsored the candidate that is empowered by law to do that.

If the APC was boycotting the election, the directive would have come from the NWC of the party and not a candidate. He is not the one sponsoring the party, it is the other way round.

“In addition, myself, Comrade AC Ude, who signed the result sheet as a party agent did that as a foundation member of APC, member of Enugu State caucus of APC and a pioneer deputy state chairman of APC Enugu State. I did not do that as a factional deputy state chairman.”

The returning officer’s account might have necessitated the omission of Okorocha’s name from INEC’s list

“held up at the centre by supporters of Okorocha,” who insisted he must complete the announcement.”

The returning officer’s account might have necessitated the omission of Okorocha’s name from INEC’s list, as the commission simply explained the omission on its website as “declaration under duress.”

The names of five other candidates in Abuja South, Kogi East, Ondo South, Plateau South, Rivers East and West, as well as Imo North, were also missing as supplementary elections will be conducted in those areas, while the candidate of Bauchi South will be determined by the court.

At the end of collation, there was no clear winner because the candidate that had the majority votes had one-quarter of two-thirds of the votes cast

INEC materials were destroyed and some adhoc staff injured in the course of the violence that occurred.

“At the end of collation, there was no clear winner because the candidate that had the majority votes had one-quarter of two-thirds of the votes cast.

“But the difference between the candidate with the majority votes and the next candidate is very small as compared to the number of registered voters and votes cancelled,”

If the card readers did not work as directed by INEC, what was the substitute? Is that valid in law? Please tell those advising our candidate not to go to court to keep their advice

We will pursue this case to a logical conclusion to strengthen the processes of election and electoral conduct so that powers-that-be would not just wake up and conjure figures to represent voting outcome.

There were issues with card readers which formed the basis for the voting and we do not expect INEC to violate her own rules and regulations. “If the card readers did not work as directed by INEC, what was the substitute? Is that valid in law? Please tell those advising our candidate not to go to court to keep their advice.

We will test the validity of our laws as contained in relevant documents to ensure that they are not run in the breach whimsically without consequences.”

“I am confident that working together with the security agencies,

we will consolidate on the largely peaceful conduct of the presidential and national assembly elections while also taking decisive steps to deal with the minority of violators intent on disrupting the conduct of peaceful elections.”

“However, the commission will not tolerate the act of holding our officials’ hostage and forcing them to declare winners under duress. Where such occurs, the commission will not reward bad behaviour by issuing them certificates of return.”
