Burna Boy sat down with Rap Radar to talk about his ground breaking year that has seen him get nominated for a grammy award.
The one topic that came up was his beef with South Africa which has seen
him dropped from Afropunk and the Africa Unite Concert over comments he
made during Xenophobic attacks.
Burna Boy was asked if the
issues he has with South Africa has been resolved and speaking on the
development, Burna Boy Said “The problem is in the reality of the
situation, the problem is in how certain Africans see themselves and
because of how they see themselves they see their brothers the wrong
way. It’s just really misplaced and misguided anger and hatred and that
does not help the unity of Africa and it’s a very deep rooted problem.
