CEO of LifeBank, Temie Tubosun, wins $250K Jack Ma grant

The CEO of LifeBank, Temie Giwa-Tubosun, has won $250,000 grant from the Jack Ma Foundation.

Giwa-Tubosun announced the news via her Twitter handle @temite on Sunday.

It was the foundation’s maiden Annual Prize for African businesses, which held in Accra, Ghana, on Saturday.

Jack Ma, a Chinese investor, had inaugurated the Africa Netpreneur Prize Initiative, ANPI,  with $1m.

LifeBank is a Lagos-based blood and oxygen delivery company that connects registered blood banks to hospitals and patients in need of blood supply.

It was established in 2015, to reduce blood shortage in Nigeria. Punch
