Tech: Samsung launches Galaxy A series smartphones

Samsung has unveiled new members of the Galaxy A Series smartphones – the Galaxy A10s, A20s and A30s.

At a press conference in Lagos, the company said the new devices offered upgrades to essential features, and provided more value for the new smartphone generation.

The Head, Information Technology and Mobile at Samsung Nigeria, Adetunji Taiwo, described the Galaxy A10s as an impressive device with a 6.2-inch, HD+ Infinity-V Display and offering an immersive visual experience to users who binge-watch on their favourite content.

According to him, the Galaxy A10s smartphone comes with a dual rear camera, comprising of a 13MP primary rear camera with F1.8 aperture, a 2MP depth camera and 8MP front camera, to address the millennials’ need to capture moments on the go.

He said other features were the Octa-core processor, fingerprint scanner and face unlock, as well as  2GB  RAM and 32GB internal storage.

He said the Galaxy A20s had been packed with triple rear camera, 15W fast-charging capability,  4,000mAh battery, sports Dolby Atmos surround sound technology,  and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Octa-core processor that enables users to easily juggle with multiple apps.

 The Galaxy A30s, according to Taiwo, has a unique geometric pattern and futuristic holographic effect on the back, showcasing a stylish look and feel.

He said the device had been paired with a long-lasting 4,000mAh battery and an AI-based Game Booster, which offered the best gaming experiences on-the-go.

 He said the Galaxy A30s had triple rear cameras, equipped with intelligent flaw-detecting and scene -optimising tools, making snapping the perfect picture on Galaxy A30s easy and convenient.

He added that the smartphone featured an on-screen fingerprint scanner as an easier and more intuitive way of keeping users’ content safe without compromising design. (Punch)
