We believe God will continue to keep us and Nigeria safe– Osinbajo
Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has expressed gratitude to well meaning Nigerians who showed concerns after the Chopper carrying him crash landed in Kabba, Kogi State on Saturday.
The professor who was reportedly going for his usual grassroots campaign when his Chopper crash landed in Kabba.
The Vice President, on his twitter handle told Nigerians that he and others were safe and sound and thanked them for their concern.
“We are safe and sound! Thank you to everyone who has expressed concern and thank you to the crew who managed the situation well.

“We believe that God will continue to keep us and Nigeria safe even as we go higher,” he said.
Although, prior to the announcement of the safety of Prof. Osinbajo and his crew, Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to Vice President, Laolu Akande had earlier disclosed his boss’ Chopper hand crash landed.‏
According to him, the Chopper crash landed in Kabba, but that Osinbajo and others in the Chopper were all safe.
“VP Osinbajo’s Chopper crash lands in Kabba, but he and the entire crew safe. He is continuing with his engagements and plans for the day in Kogi State,” he said.
