@News politics: Fayose ate my food for 90 days when he was kicked out of government house in Ekiti state –Uzor Kalu

A former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, has revealed that he provided asylum to Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose when he was battling the challenges he faced in Ekiti when he was impeached by the Ekiti State House of Assembly.
Kalu said he was his savior while he escaped the fiery anger of President Olusegun Obasanjo, and He noted that Fayose stayed in his (Kalu’s) house for 90 days, eating food.
Fayose escaped from security men after his October 2003 impeachment saga alongside his deputy, Biodun Olujinmi.
The Governor was impeached after Obasanjo labelled him a fraud due to a multi-billion Naira poultry farm scam in his state.
This was made known by Kalu after Fayose warned him not to step into Ekiti State.
However, Dr. Kalu defiantly dared the Ekiti state governor, Fayose and entered Ekiti State to organize a Pro-Buhari rally.
Kalu had earlier described Fayose as his boy who dared not stop him from doing his political bidding in Ekiti.
