NEWS : SPORTS – ARSENAL VS CHELSEA: 5 Nigerians Who Have Won Community Shield

Arsenal and Chelsea will renew their rivalry when they clash in the 2017 FA Community Shield at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
Super Eagles duo Victor Moses and Alex Iwobi are expected to be in action for Chelsea and Arsenal respectively, guaranteeing that there will be a Nigerian winner on Sunday.

DANIEL AMOKACHI (Everton: 1995)
Former Super Eagles striker Daniel Amokachi was an unused substitute for Everton who pipped Blackburn Rovers 1-0 to lift the 1995 FA Community Shield.
The only goal of the game was scored by Vinny Samways in the 57th minute which secured Everton their ninth Community Shield.
Everton had won the FA Cup after beating Manchester United 1-0 in the final, while Blackburn Rovers were crowned league champions.
Amokachi was instrumental in Everton’s 4-1 semi-final win against Tottenham Hotspur after coming on to score two late goals to seal qualification into the 1995 FA Cup final.
NWANKWO KANU (Arsenal: 1999)
Arsenal met treble winners Manchester United in the 1999 FA Community Shield and triumphed 2-1.
